Mix Mup, a.k.a. Lorenz Lindner, is a Leipzig-based artist, musician and DJ. He continuously adapts and twists the established rules of musical genres, always demanding the extraordinary. Since 2001 he has released numerous records on labels including Mikrodisko, Hinge Finger, The Trilogy Tapes and Erkrankung durch Musique, with each release increasing his international audience. Lindner is also one half of the MM/KM project, a collaboration with his friend and studio partner Kassem Mosse which saw its first release in 2012 on the UK label The Trilogy Tapes (TTT).

He also moderates and curates a monthly radio show on Berlin Community Radio.

Mix Mup has a loyal fan base who love him for his unconventional club tracks. His sound is slippery and difficult to define, lurking on the outskirts of house and techno. His current mix of soulful “machine funk”, out on Resident Advisor, demonstrates his typical genius, and it is stunning.
