Anna Fišere and Miķelis Fišers present their commissioned work ‘Soul Purifying System’
After its premiere in Riga during Skanu Mezs festival, this witty and humorous interdisciplinary piece is coming to Tromsø. At Skaņu mežs, it was performed by Anna Fišere and Andris Kalnozols, the writer of the piece, which was inspired by a quote by Erlend Lou “Laughter and play cleanses the soul”. The performance involves a sophisticated pneumatic device built by the artist Miķelis Fišers, who will have his stage debut in Tromsø, replacing Andris Kalnozols in this duo.
The piece will be shown on the 18th of October at 17:00 as part of the LYRA concert at Prostneset Havneterminal. The concert is free and open to the participants of all ages!
