ERASE, the Oslo-based industrial techno producer and DJ first picked up decks at 16 – the name has followed her ever since. A ten-year break from music ended when she came back to chase something different: making her own tracks, and finding her truth in techno.
Since returning to the studio in 2024, she’s moved fast — releases on Exit7, Omen Recordings, Derestrict Collective, and Mephyst, most recently the EP “Somewhere I Still Exist.” Her live sets run entirely on Elektron hardware – built for a sound that’s as physical as it is precise. This October she debuts her first live set at Insomnia Festival.
There’s an intensity to ERASE that doesn’t ask permission. Her tracks rarely start as a plan — more often they arrive as a flow state she doesn’t fully control, chasing a feeling until it’s finished. The result is techno with teeth: industrial, unflinching, and entirely her own.
ERASE is presented through the Cloud: Exit programme. Cloud: Exit is a part of Insomnia Festivals efforts to help develop and nurture new talents in the electronic music scene of northern Norway. The programme is made possible with support from SNN Samfunnsløftet and Talent Norway.
