Zesknel is an alias of Georgian musician Zurab Babunashvili. Zesknel is an electronic live musical project with evolving attitudes and instrumentation. Intuitively constructed live performances form their asis in ‘in-the-moment’ perceptions, rhythmical adventures and try to create a ritualistic unity with abstract sounds. No genres – a state of body and mind.
Full frequency spectrum intuitive sounds: cathartic, rhythmic, low-end-y, offhand and absurd. Expect some noise.
Zurab is also a resident at the Tbilisi club Bassiani and the radio-platform Mutant Radio. At Insomnia Zesknel will perform live at DRIV and hold a workshop as part of our Insights program. Stay tuned for more details.
